  1. The APL Group are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Chris Brown as Sales Director today. Chris joins the APL Group from Ryan & Brown Limited where at which he brought leading hair care product MUK to the UK establishing a healthy distribution network.

    Daniel Arpels, CEO & Chairman of the APL Group said, 'I am delighted to welcome Chris to the team. We have worked closely with Chris during his time at Ryan & Brown and have been impressed with what he has achieved. We look forward to working with him to expand our distribution for the Website Design Centre.'

    Chris will join Daniel Arpels, Peter Thatcher, Richard Friend & Daniel Arpels Snr on the board of directors and will be responsible for the sales and strategic planning for the Website Design Centre which launched across the UK in October 2008. The Website Design Centre provides website design packages for small business at affordable fixed costs and is sold through a network of introducers across the UK.

    Chris Brown said, “Every once in a while you come across a product so useful that it changes the fundamentals of how you view business. Recently, I had the opportunity of being introduced to The Website Design Centre and was so impressed by the concept; I jumped to be a part of it.   2. APL have been selected as SEO consultants for leading Norwich Accountants, Farnell Clarke. The Accountants with locations in Norwich & Lowestoft have commissioned APL to increase traffic through search engine optimisation and targeted pay per click campaigns focussing on Google.

    Will Farnell from Farnell Clarke, said ‘We have worked with APL on some of our client website & SEO accounts and they have produced great results, we are happy to be working with APL on increasing our presence on the internet.’

  3. A Pondlife Limited have today announced plans to release a Bluetooth Messaging Device under their mobile marketing division in November 2008. APL believe that mobile marketing plays a major part in the companies development over the next 5 years and their Bluetooth messaging device is the first stage of the divisions expansions.

    Richard Friend, Director APL said, ‘we are extremely happy to be able to offer clients mobile marketing through bluetooth and hope to expand on our product offerings over the coming months.’

    Mobile marketing is set to raise by 60% by 2010 and leading marketing consultants see this form of communications as a major factor in companies marketing budgets over the coming years.

  4. A Pondlife Limited have been employed by NMG (Norfolk Motor Group) to expand the companies online marketing plan via Facebook. The Norfolk Motor Group, who have 3 sites in Norwich, Norfolk are to expand their online marketing through networking with clients on the companies very own Facebook group page as well as through NMG staff.

    Daniel Arpels, CEO of A Pondlife Limited visited NMG last week and after presenting the facebook concept at the sales meeting, the staff and management were pleased to move towards this new technology to further communicate with the companies clients.

    NMG is a family business with a high level of service within the local community. The company recognises the need to move with the latest technologies and provide clients with another resource to communicate with the company.

    The Norfolk Motor Group Facebook group will go live shortly with special offers and discounts aimed at group members.

  5. A Pondlife Limited have today announced the launch of the long await Website Design Centre will be on Monday 6th October 2008. The new APL product gives small to medium size business the opportunity to have a professional website at very low cost prices. The package also includes a full content management system allowing Website Design Centre clients to update their own website from an easy to use online application.

    APL’s new business director, Richard Friend said. ‘We have been developing this product for sometime now and are delighted with its testing. We have made a soft launch to 10 resellers who have all reported tremendous sales.’

    The Website Design Centre will be distributed through carefully selected resellers throughout the UK. Further plans to launch the product in the US are planned for 2009.

  6. A Pondlife Limited have today released the Next Step Nail & Beauty Training website at www.nextstepbeauty.co.uk - APL have been working closely with Next Step who provide intense nail course and beauty courses in Norfolk, Suffolk & East Anglia. The company, which is based just outside of Norwich, provides nail and beauty courses to individuals, beauty salon and spa’s as well as beauty schools and colleges.

    APL have also been commissioned to perform an SEO schedule and social marketing campaign for the company which is already underway.

  7. APL have today released the first version of muk’s new online website at www.mukme.com . muk are an Australian branded hair care company distributed throughout the UK by Ryan & Brown Limited based in Leicester. The companies ‘politically incorrect haircare’ haircare products are currently in around 300 salons in the UK and growing. APL have been commissioned to develop a fully interactive website which will enhance the brand awareness whilst spreading the word through viral marketing. Daniel Arpels, CEO of APL said. ‘we are having a lot of fun working with muk and creating marketing concepts for the brands UK media advertising.

  8. A Pondlife Limited are to produce 2 further websites for GRS Inns Limited owned by London Town PLC. GRS have asked APL to produce a website and marketing concept for nightclub Plush in Scotland along with pre club bar Shenanigans. The two websites are due to be completed by the end of September 2008 and will be built using APL’s new ‘website design centre’ offering due to be launched at the end of the month.

  9. APL have secured a deal with hair care brand MUK which will see MUK hair products stocked at Studio A. APL secured the Studio A trademark last month and this new deal with MUK sees Studio A bring the hair care brand to East Anglia. MUK are currently stocked in around 300 salons but Studio A will be the first in East Anglia. Daniel Arpels, CEO of APL said, ‘ initial talks with Chris Brown from MUK have gone very well and we expect to be stocking MUK products from August 2008.’ APL have also announced a marketing plan is scheduled for MUK which will be revealed later in the year.

  10. A Pondlife Limited are to use Protx and offer clients an alternative to Paypal as recommended payment options on all their ecommerce solutions. Protx are a trusted online payment portal, which easily integrates into Barclays, HSBC, Nat West bank systems allowing clients to sell products online. Currently APL offer shopping cart facilities through Paypal however APL have announced that their Protx integration will be completed soon. APL have also announced that their own payment system will be updated to accommodate this new payment facility.

  11. APL has achieved a 1st page rank for Norwich asset finance company, First Finance. APL were employed to design the companies webpage and after just 10 days is already ranking under ‘asset finance Norwich’ on page 1 of Google’s index. Company Director, Peter Thatcher said ‘ we are delighted tat after only 10 days First Finance have already achieved page 1 placement on Google, Yahoo & MSN. We will be continuing to work with the company to increase the web traffic over the next few month.’

    First Finance is an asset and business finance company based in Wales with a Norwich office.

  12. A Pondlife Limited are delighted to announce that, as of today, the company have acquired the Trade Mark for Studio A. Studio A is a rapidly growing hair salon group in East Anglia providing all aspects of hair care with 3 salons in Attleborough, Waton and at Aldercarr Hall in Great Ellingham.

    Daniel Arpels, CEO of A Pondlife Limited said. ‘ We are delighted to now own the trade mark and working with the Studio A team, we will be launching several marketing campaigns to increase the awareness of the already strong brand.’

    Studio A is owned by Arpels Inc Limited and its board of directors are all part of the Arpels family.

  13. A Pondlife Get Top SEO Rankings For Local Video Maker

    APL have achieved a 1st place Google ranking for Nik Colman Associates who are a Norwich based video and DVD film makers. Nik Coleman Associates are today on the 1st page of Google.

    Nik Coleman Associates are delighted with the results of their local search optimisaion and have now contracted APL to optimise the site for more regional and national search.

  14. A Pondlife Limited have today that the long awaited Website Design Centre brand will be launched on September 2nd 2008.

    Daniel Arpels CEO of APL said ' we are very excited about this new product and brand. It allows business's to have affordable, bespoke, professional websites, designed by our team at a very low cost. We are also providing a full CMS system which is unheard of at our low package prices.'

    The Website Design Centre will offer a full content management system with every package allowing business owners to update their websites from an easy to use online wizard.

    APL plan to sell these packages through a network of selected partners of which APL have already secured 30 across the UK. APL expect to have 100 partners by January 2009.

    APL will release the new product at an invitation only launch party at Aldercarr Hall on Friday 5th September 2008.

Pro Plas have a long established business in Attleborough but have recently moved into bigger premises and seeked the advise of APL to create a corporate brand and website.   20. APL Partner with sitemaker

    APL have today announced their new strategic partnership with Sitemaker for the Website Design Centre brand. The partnership will see APL use the Sitemaker CMS software for all future WDC developments. Peter Thatcher from APL said. ‘ We are pleased to be able to offer our clients the Sitemaker CMS. We have ourselves used it on projects over that past few years and enjoy its easy to use, creative and powerful control features.’ APL expect to start using the Sitemaker CMS in July 2008.
